Cabin goals (in full)

Please note that this set of goals expired on Thursday 2nd February 2017.

This week's update brought with it a new set of goals relating to cabins as we search for warmth during this bitterly cold winter.

This is a full length quest (unlike the previous week's effort) but there is only 15 days available to complete it. This is less than the typical duration of a full goal set, and means that we can expect the clipboard to vanish on Thursday 2nd February.

Up for grabs are three floor decorations, two appliances and six recipes. So get cooking!

 Step 1: The Cabin

• Buy 8 Cabin Walls ... any wallpaper is acceptable.
• Buy 12 Cabin Tiles ... any floor tile is acceptable

Step 1: The Cabin

Following these initial purchases the Cabin Drink Maker is unlocked.

This is the first of two new appliances available in these goals and needs to be bought in Step 2.

 Step 2: My Cabin!?

• Build 1 Cabin Drink Maker ... this costs 30,000 coins and does not require construction. The Sonic Cabin Drink Maker can be used to reduce cook times by 20% but is not necessary for completion of the goals.
• Serve 10 Hot Chocolates ... this is found on the Cabin Drink Maker and takes 1 hour to prepare.

Step 2: My Cabin!?

After getting all those Hot Chocolates out the second dish on the Cabin Drink Maker loses its padlock.

The Chai-Maple Cider is a 2 hour drink which features in Step 3.

 Step 3: Spiced Ciders

• Prepare 10 Chai-Maple Ciders ...  this is found on the Cabin Drink Maker and takes 2 hours to prepare. Note that this recipe originally took 5 hours to prepare but was changed within 24 hours of release.
• Serve 10 Chai-Maple Ciders

Step 3: Spiced Ciders

By completing this step the Mulled Cider becomes accessible.

This is the third and final drink located on the Cabin Drink Maker and is at the centre of Step 4.

 Step 4: Spiced Ciders

• Serve 10 Mulled Ciders ... this is found on the Cabin Drink Maker and takes 5 hours to prepare. Note that this recipe originally took 13 hours to prepare but was changed within 24 hours of release.
• Visit 12 Community Members ... neighbours are not counted.
• Leave 12 Tips ... tips left at neighbours are counted.

Step 4: Gran-Gran's Recipe

Now the second appliance involved in these goals is unlocked, with one given to you for free.

The Cabin Oven contains another three recipes which are at the hub of the remaining steps, starting with Step 5. At this stage Sidestep A also appears and will need to be completed in order to continue progression with the main strand of the quest.

 Step 5: Cabin Stew

• Build 2 Ovens ... this costs 30,000 coins and requires 5 Wood Glue, 7 Chopped Wood and 7 Charcoal to build.
• Prepare 10 Vegetable Soups ... this is found on the Cabin Oven and takes 2 hours to prepare.
• Serve 10 Vegetable Soups

Step 5: Cabin Stew

Once those soups are all served up the Bread Pudding comes into play.

This is a 4 hour recipe on the Cabin Oven which needs to made in Step 6.

 Step 6: Pudding Plans into Action

• Prepare 10 Bread Puddings ... this is found on the Cabin Oven and takes 4 hours to prepare.
• Serve 10 Bread Puddings
• Have 2 Indoor Fire Pits ...  this is locked until you complete Sidestep A and costs 20,000 coins.

After all those Bread Puddings have been dealt with the Coffee Cake becomes available.

This 8 hour dish is the last recipe on the Cabin Oven and is the focus of the climactic goal, Step 7.

 Step 7: Taking the Cake

• Prepare 10 Coffee Cakes ... this is found on the Cabin Oven and takes 8 hours to prepare.
• Serve 10 Coffee Cakes
• Have 1 Cabin Couch ... this is locked until you complete Sidestep B and costs 22,000 coins.

Step 7: Taking the Cake

This is the last step in this quest, with the Cozy Cabin Comfort given as the final reward.

This 4x4 item can be found near the end of the floor decorations tab with further purchases requiring 60 gems.

 Sidestep A: Warming Up Mitts
 Available after completing Step 4

• Ask Neighbours for 6 Warm Mittens ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.
• Have 2 Cabin Counters ... these cost 13,000 coins each.

For getting those mittens in you gain access to the Indoor Fire Pit.

This floor decoration needs to be bought in Step 6. At this point Sidestep B will appear with another task that needs completing if you are to finish the main string of goals.

 Available after completing Sidestep A

• Have 4 Cabin Tables ... these cost 7,000 coins each.
• Have 4 Cabin Chairs ... these cost 11,000 coins each.

Sidestep B: Cabin Decor

Those table and chair buys earn you access to the Cabin Couch.

This is another floor decoration which needs to be purchased in the main strand of goals, on this occasion in Step 7.
