I know, I know. Winter in July is just not right (sorry Southern Hemisphere dwellers!) But it's what the mysterious folks at Storm8 have dealt us for the
most recent update, and it comes with goals so we should embrace the cold and forge ahead!
This quest is around for 15 days from the kick-off, which means it is due to expire on Tuesday 8th August 2017. So you've only got until then to unlock the three floor decorations which are accessed via these goals, as well as two appliances and six recipes.
Here is the complete list of steps:
Step 1: Big Summer Blowout
- Buy 8 Ice Cream Walls ... any wallpaper is acceptable.
- Buy 12 Frozen Tiles ... any floor tile is acceptable.

Upon completing this opening step the
Snow Machine is unlocked.

This is the first of two appliances available exclusively through this quest and will need to be bought and built in
Step 2.
Step 2: Do You Wanna Build A Snow Machine?
- Build 1 Snow Machine... this costs 37,000 coins and requires 6 Gears, 6 Magical Snowballs and 10 Cooler Coils to build. The Cooler Coil is a new part which can be gifted.
- Serve 15 Blueberry Snows ... this is found on the Snow Machine and takes 2 hours to prepare.

After getting through these tasks the second dish on the Snow Machine becomes available.

Strawberry Snow is a 3 hour recipe and holds the key to
Step 3.

- Serve 15 Strawberry Snows ... this is found on the Snow Machine and takes 3 hours to prepare.
- Buy 2 Popsicle Arts ... these cost 6,000 coins each.

Now the
Rainbow Snow is opened up.

A 4 hour entry on the Snow Machine, this dish is at the centre of
Step 4.
Step 4: Ice Is My Life
- Serve 15 Rainbow Snows ... this is found on the Snow Machine and takes 4 hours to prepare.
- Ask Neighbours for 6 Blocks of Ice ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.

For getting through this step the second appliance involved in this quest is unlocked.

The
Slushy Machine holds another three drinks which are involved in the upcoming tasks. You actually get one of these fully built for free, but you will need to build another
Step 5.
Step 5: Blueberry Blizzard
- Build 2 Slushy Machines ... this costs 42,000 coins and requires 8 Gears, 8 Frozen Fuses and 12 Icicles to build. The Icicle is a new part which can be gifted. One Slushy Machine is given free for completing Step 4.
- Serve 12 Blueberry Slushys ... this is found on the Slushy Machine and takes 3 hours to prepare.

Once those slushys are all served up the
Strawberry Slushy comes next.

This is a 5 hour effort on the Slushy Machine and is the hub of
Step 6. At this stage
Sidestep A also pops up - you'll need to complete this in order to get through
Step 6.
Step 6: Investigate The Ice Cream Case
- Serve 12 Strawberry Slushys ... this is found on the Slushy Machine and takes 5 hours to prepare.
- Have 1 Ice Cream Case ... this is locked until you complete Sidestep A and costs 26,000 coins.

You won't be surprised to hear that the
Pineapple Slushy becomes available after this goal is all done and dusted.

You're going to need to prepare this last recipe in
Step 7. But you'll also need to make some buys in a another bonus goal which appears at this point -
Sidestep B.
Step 7: Pineapple Ice Bear
- Serve 12 Pineapple Slushys ... this is found on the Slushy Machine and takes 6 hours to prepare.
- Have 2 Ice Bears ... this is locked until you complete Sidestep B and cost 17,000 coins each.

And that's it - this is the climactic goal with the
Chill Barista the final prize.

This is a 4x4 whopper which can be found towards the end of the floor decorations tab. You can purchase further editions of it, but they will cost you 70 gems.
Sidestep A: A Snow Flurry Of Activity
Available after completing Step 5
- Visit 12 Community Members ... neighbours are not counted.
- Leave 12 Tips ... tips left at neighbours are counted.
- Have 2 Frigid Counters ... these cost 21,000 coins each.

Your travels around the community will reward you with access to the

Step 6.
Sidestep B: Frigid Furniture
Available after completing Step 6
- Have 4 Frozen Tables ... these cost 19,000 coins each.
- Have 4 Frozen Stools ... these cost 15,000 coins each.
- Have 1 Snow Cone Machine ... this costs 25,000 coins.
