Follow up on Spring Stove

As part of the Spring update and the Spring goals from last week, we got a new appliance - the Spring Stove.

Predictably this is a constructible appliance, requiring 5 Picnic Baskets and 5 Spring Leaves to build. These are both new components which can be found at the very end of the gift list.

So after a little help from your neighbours, what joys does the Spring Stove behold? Well, there are three recipes:

First recipe on Spring Stove

Second recipe on Spring Stove

Third recipe on Spring Stove

So all of these new dishes are quite short in the length of the waiting time. Consequently they yield relatively small quantities of plates with the 250 servings from the Braised Lamb being really modest for a 6 hour recipe. This reminds me of the uneconomical combinations for the foods on the Fire Pit Grill.

To add to the negativity, I think these dishes look pretty unappealing. The Zucchini Soup in particular is a slimy shade of green which I would typically associate with Halloween. Meanwhile the Snow Pea Risotto has what appears to be revolting (in my opinion of course!) bacon jerky carelessly strewn over it - not what you'd expect of a sophisticated risotto.

But the fact of the matter is that that I am clearly reading too much into these new delicacies, and should focus my thoughts on the 6 gems available for mastering these dishes - 3 of which will be obtained just from completing the Spring goals!
