New York, New York! The
most recent update takes us to the biggest city in the US, bringing with it a new set of goals for your gaming enjoyment.
The clock indicates that there are 29 days available from the outset until the goals expire, meaning you should have until Wednesday 7th October to get them complete. Remember that after that time you won't be able to unlock any of the goal prizes, so make sure to get done before then.
Here is the complete list of goal steps:
Step 1: Start Spreading the News
- Build 1 Hot Dog Stand ... this costs 20,000 coins and requires 5 Mallets, 5 Iron Presses and 5 Sauce Bottles to build. Note that the Sauce Bottle is a new part which can be gifted.
- Serve 8 Classic Hot Dogs ... these are found on the Hot Dog Stand and take 1 hour to prepare.
- Have 6 City Steel Counters ... these cost 6,000 coins each.

Once you've got those hot dogs served up, the
Chili Cheese Dog unlocks.

This is the second recipe found on the Hot Dog Stand and is the primary subject of
Step 2.
Step 2: We're Leaving Today!
- Have 4 Modern Steel Tables ... these cost 7,200 coins each.
- Have 4 Modern Steel Chairs ... these cost 3,200 coins each.
- Serve 10 Chili Cheese Dogs ... these are found on the Hot Dog Stand and take 2 hours to prepare.

For completing this goal, the first of the unlockable floor decorations opens up.

Hot Dog Vendor needs to be purchased in
Step 3.
Step 3: Big City Dreaming
- Have 1 Hot Dog Vendor ... this costs 18,000 coins. Find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.
- Ask Neighbours for 6 Vendor Hats ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.

After those hats come in, you'll gain access to the last of the recipes on the Hot Dog Stand.

NY Hot Dog is a 3 hour dish, and is the focus of
Step 4.

- Prepare 12 NYC Hot Dogs ... these are found on the Hot Dog Stand and take 3 hours to prepare.

Step 5: Getting Around Town
- Ask Neighbours for 10 City Maps ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.
- Have 1 Empire Statue ... this costs 40,000 coins. Find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.

By obtaining those 10 maps from your helpful neighbours you'll drop the padlock on the second appliance featured in these goals.

One
Pretzel Stand is given to you fully built for free, and you'll need another in
Step 6.
- Build 2 Pretzel Stands ... this costs 25,000 coins (although one is given to you for free) and requires 5 Brass Diverters, 5 Mallets and 5 Steel to build. Note that the Steel is a new part which can be gifted.
- Prepare 10 Salted Pretzels ... these are found on the Pretzel Stand and take 2 hours to prepare.
- Serve 10 Salted Pretzels

Once that first collection of pretzels is all on your counters, the
Cinnamon Pretzel becomes available.

Step 7: The City That Never Sleeps
- Buy 6 Cityscape Wallpapers ... these cost 2,000 coins each. Note that you must buy this particular wallpaper.
- Buy 12 City Sidewalk Floor Tiles ... these cost 990 coins each.

- Prepare 15 Cinnamon Pretzels ... these are found on the Pretzel Stand and take 4 hours to prepare.

- Serve 20 Pepperoni Pretzels
- Have 1 Lady Liberty ... this costs 33,000 coins. Find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.

This is a 4x4 item which is located towards the end of the floor decorations tab. One is gifted to you for free, but if you're feeling dangerous you can buy further copies for 40 gems each.
I can't believe they put a Seinfeldish phrase in there (what's the deal with pretzels?) but missed the obvious title "these pretzels are making me thirsty!"

I had no idea what you were referring to there until I headed to Google! It's fair to say that Seinfeld was before my time, nor did it make any waves over here as far as I know.

Hehe... We love England in my house. I've watched The IT Crowd and my son is a huge Dr. Who and Peeky Blinders fan. I need to get around to watching The Office.

DeleteIf you are able to buy the Hot Dog Stand then I'd expect you to be able to access the first recipe on it though. :)
