Note that the Help/FAQ section off the main menu in the game answers a number of common queries. Here you will find some further questions answered...

Can I transfer my game to another device?
Yes. A step-by-step guide of how to do so can be found here. Note that this method will result in all your Storm8 games being transferred, although they can be transferred back by the same method.

Can I change my Storm8 ID?
Yes. To do so, email support@teamlava.com giving your current Storm8 ID, at least three different names you would like as your new Storm8 ID, and a suitable reason for the change.

Can I restart my game from the start?
No. At present, the only way to start over is via a new account, which can only be done via another device.

When does the game reset for a new day?
At midnight Pacific Standard Time (PST). To convert this for your timezone, you can go here.

What is the maximum number of appliance slots?
There is no limit, although you can only unlock 18 appliance slots without spending gems. The 18th appliance is unlocked at level 73. After this point, you can choose to add extra slots for 49 gems each.

At which levels do new appliance slots unlock?
To start the game, you are given 2 slots. Then the number of slots increases in increments of four, then five, and repeated. So in full:

How do I build constructible appliances?
Tap on the box of parts which appears after purchasing the appliance, and you will see a window containing the requirements for building the appliance. Tap 'Ask Friends' to request parts from neighbours, or use gems instead (note that the number of gems shown is for ONE part - not to buy up to the required number of parts). Any parts you already have are automatically included in the count.

What recipes are available on each appliance?
There are too many to list here, but feel free to visit the excellent Supreme Dynasty which has a full list of recipes, both past and present.

What parts are required for each constructible appliance?
Again, there are too many appliances to list them all here, but Supreme Dynasty has a superb table with all the details for past and present appliances.

What is an Easy appliance?
These are enhanced versions of the Basic Ovens, Stoves and Grills. The enhancement is that they do not require any tapping to prepare food prior to cooking, and only one tap to serve after cooking.

What is a Forever appliance?
These are enhanced versions of the Basic Ovens, Stoves and Grills. The enhancement is that food cooked on them is never spoilt.

What is a Sonic appliance?
These are enhanced versions of the Basic Ovens, Stoves and Grills. The enhancement is that food takes 20% less time to cook. For example, a 1 day recipe will take only 17 hrs, 36 mins to cook (remember that 1 day recipes normally take 22 hrs to cook).

What does it mean to 'master' a recipe?
This means cooking a recipe repeatedly to fill up the meter along the bottom of the dish in the recipe book. The number of times a dish needs to be cooked to master at each level and the rewards for doing so are as follows:

How do I unlock Apple Cider on the Drinks Machine?
You can't. This recipe was part of the Christmas goals in 2011, and if you didn't unlock it by completing them at the time, then you can never unlock it. The same applies to other goal items such as Holiday Ham, and also many recipes which have been removed altogether such as Pumpkin Porridge and Christmas Pear Torte.

How do I move the door?
There must always be a door placed in your restaurant, so to move it you need to buy another door for 10 gems in the Wall Decorations tab. Then place it wherever you want to and store the other door.

How do I delete wallpapers and floor tiles I had previously purchased?
Unfortunately you cannot. You can only place different wallpapers or floor tiles over the existing ones, which will result in the originals being transferred into storage.

What are the Boxes in the last tab?
These are a lottery. For 24 gems you get a 'lucky dip' into the box and will be given an item at random. However some items are more common than others. I strongly urge you to take a look at the contents of the boxes before parting with any gems by visiting the Storm8 Forums.

If I have enough coins or gems, can I skip an expansion and move directly to the next one?
No. You must apply every expansion in order.

How do I get the flowers needed to complete the Floral Bouquet in the Collectibles section?
Each of the flowers appears when you buy wallpapers and wall decorations. However they are very rare to come by. I can only suggest buying a lot of wallpaper and clocks!

Why are there no more goals?
Goals are released only occasionally, and not according to any timeframe. Their release is usually related to the time of year (eg. Christmas, Valentine's Day, Summer). If any are currently active, they will be listed on the right side of this page.

Why are some of my neighbours' requests only appearing to me 2 days after they were made?
This is due to your neighbour. Players can only make 20 gift requests per day, so if they make more, then those not accepted first are carried over to the next day. If they make more than 40 requests, those not responded to are carried over to a third day, and so on.

How do I use pictures in messages to neighbours?
To do this you need to download a program outwith Restaurant Story (or TeamLava). The most commonly used app for this is called Emoji and can be found here (UK app store).

  1. I see your explanation on the gifting. Does Food apply to the 20 threshold? I am being told by my neighbors that my gifts are full and they are not going through. But I keep receiving gifts for food. I decline the food gifts in hopes that the "slot" (of the 20 threshold) will be reopened. But I still hear from them saying it still wont go through? What gives on this? If the food is not affected by the 20 threshold then I will keep accepting it. It seems I've turned away good gifts for nothing?? Thanks again! For any insight!

      You can definitely only accept up to 20 gifts per day (food or parts) and have 20 requests accepted. Whether you're dealing with food or parts should be irrelevant.

  4. Three people in our family play Restaurant Story. We've noticed that all three of us have an inventory of 16 orange wallpapers and that additional ones are priced at 2 gems. None of us purchased these. Where they part of a goal prize?

  5. I have a technical question you may know the answer to; I have transferred someone else's Storm8 games from one iPad to another before, so I understand that process, however I currently play RS on my iPad and I own an android phone.

    I currently have RS installed on my phone with another Storm8 account, and I see that I can sign in to my android phone as my iPad ID name to play my main game on my phone. But it uses the word 'transfer' - "would you like to transfer all your Storm8 games to this device?"

    My question is that if I sign in on my phone, will that allow me to continue to play on my iPad, and therefore play the same account on both iPad and android phone?

    I'm hesitant to try as I really don't want to mess anything up. Can you provide any advice?

    1. From my experience you can definitely play simultaneously on two Apple devices (although need to be careful about syncing) but I'm not too clued up on Android so can't offer any insight there.

      I wasn't actually sure that Android had the in-game transfer option at all! Obviously simultaneous play between Apple and Android devices could spark issues when there is a separate, later release for Android as we saw this past week.

      My best advice is to contact TeamLava via support@teamlava.com. Do share any response! :)

    2. I recieved a reply from TeamLava this morning, and they assure me that the process for using multiple devices will work for any combination of iOS and Android. You can sign in and sign out of either type of devices using the same method. I'm still reluctant to try it, but at least TeamLava give their thumbs up.

    3. I'm a bit surprised at that. It would be interesting to see what would happen when there's a separate Android release which comes later and you buy the content on iOS - perhaps the items would just not show up on Android? :)

    4. To keep you updated on this issue; I did go ahead and sign in on my Android phone.. and for interest's sake I'll let you know how it went;

      As you mentioned, there are some sync issues. The worst of these is when you have them both open at the same time, or go from one to the other with not much of a time pause in between (I assume this is much the same with two iOS devices also). But with sufficient pause between playing on one device or the other, they sync up just fine.

      The main problem has been after not opening RS on the Android device for around two or three days, when you do open RS it systematically goes through all the past goals since starting to play the game, and I mean ALL - Chinese New Year, Valentines, right through to Steamboat, Egyptian and the current goals, automatically ticking them all off if you completed them (unfortunately not giving you the coin, XP or gem prizes again) and the most dangerous part, if you didn't happen to finish a goal in the past (as I didn't when I was a very junior player) it asks if you want to unlock or buy the prizes for a significant amount of gems. As it does this for every individual goal I never unlocked, it is an extremely perilous series of gem traps! I've been through this systematic ticking-off of past goals a few times now - maybe it eventually subsides...

      The biggest benefit of going to all this trouble is that my Android phone's RS asked me to install and play two games, after doing so both gave me 4 gems each!! So there's an extra 8 gems I could never get while playing only on my iPad.

      You're right though, when an update is available on one and not the other, it will be interesting to see what happens - your theory of it just not showing up is likely. I'll let you know if it ever happens..

    5. Thanks for the update. I've had serious syncing issues with other games (not TeamLava) in the past when not leaving much time between plays on different devices, so am well accustomed to taking care on this front. Sometimes force closing the app when you finish playing (not sure if this is possible on Android) can help prevent syncing issues.

      The past goal pop-ups are something I've read of on the TL Forum but had no idea what they were. Now it all makes sense - it's an Android problem only. And a very annoying one by the sounds of it. I believe TL have been informed of this, but am not sure they consider it a problem. ;)

      With regards to the extra gems, were they for games you'd already downloaded (and thus got bonus gems previously) or for new ones? I ask because when you transfer over, all your TeamLava data goes with you, which is why I've not had such luck. :)

    6. No, not games I had previously downloaded - games which are only available for Android; Pet Shop Story - Hawaii, and Restaurant Story - Summer Fun. My Android phone recognised the games I had downloaded previously.

      If you're really keen, you could borrow someone's Android phone (who doesn't play these games), collect the gems, and sign them back in with their ID..

    2. I have got this wallpaper - it's between the Pencil and Cinco de Mayo wallpapers.

      It turns out it was released in a sports themed update on 23rd February 2012. I'm not sure why you don't have it as it wasn't from a seasonal update with consequent removal.

      I believe the Basketball wallpaper and Soccer Gnome (floor decoration) were both released in the same update. Have you got them? :)

      I haven't come across many blogs for Bakery, at least not any which have new posts on a regular basis like this one does. There are a few out there which are lying dormant, but other than that they're pretty sparse. :)

    1. Hi, Anna. The following is specific to Android users... When you download a special edition of a TeamLava game (at least with the Story games) the content specific to that edition is effectively transferred into your account. You can then use any edition of the game and that content should be in there.

      If you're on iOS then things are a little more complicated. However there hasn't been a new edition on iOS for a long time (the Christmas version released this week is a glitch - it's actually just a update to the regular edition, not a new app). :)

  10. Hi, I got the X'mas RS thought it was a new game. Somehow, the 2 games fuse together. I never know which one appears. Sometimes, I would get the version with all the food spoiled. I have expanded in one, but the number of coins and gems are the same in both versions. I don't want to uninstall the wrong one and lose all of the coins and gems. What is your advice? Please help.     1. Presumably you on Android?

      If so then you need only install the Christmas version and all its content will automatically be added to your normal edition. After that you're free to play either version, although there is a chance that further new Christmas content which is added will be exclusive to the Christmas version until you next load it up. :)

I have had alot of technical issues with restaurant story lately,and i have emailed teamlava 3 times..when i was on level 34 i went in appliances and it took 49 gems of mine,which i didn't need another stove.oven.grill.etc..because im doing the chili challenge..im almost on level 37 now which i know i can get another appliance,i dont know what to do as theu have not got back to me..just a general email saying there experiencing high volume of emails..it has been 6days.sent them 3emails..do you have another suggestion? I have hsd other issues but its a came anf coins i vsn earn back..i had to buy these gems, so yea i have an issue with that..

  13. Emailing TeamLava is the only way to try and recoup those lost gems, although they don't tend to be too generous with refunding for accidental gem buys. I hope you made a point of stating that you purchased the gems with real money - you never know but this could tip the balance! And I have read of players getting the gems back when it's the first time they've accidentally spent gems, so there's is a little hope.

    Ultimately you just need to wait. At times TeamLava can be rather slow with their responses to emails, so just hold on in there and they should respond eventually. :)

So much Igloo_man for your response..i hope they do, because i didn't purchase a stove when it was unlocked,if i hit the button its one thing, but i didnt..i dont know if its on there end or mine but,there has been alot of technical issues,like me being in a neighbor's restaurant,and the hammer is up,to design.and i can actually put there stuff in storage and move things,pull up items to purchase,its crazy,obviously when i go back in everything was normal,but still,also when i scroll for foods to cook, it will start cooking a random dish.so i loose out on that money because i have to continue the process then trash it..does this happen to you? It really should ask for permission before it just does it anything,that would be nice.and again i know its just a game but..im hopeing they get back to me soon regarding my gems i paid real money for:) ..thank you again,your the best!

  15. Hi! I have two things to ask regarding crates/chest.

    1) Will I get a new item each time I open a particular crate? Or is it possible that the same item might be repeated?

    2) I see that a few items are available outside the crate for fewer gems. Like the picnic crate for example. The picnic basket is available for 15 gems. So the same item might be opened in the crate even if I buy it outside of the crate right?

      1) You can get duplicates. This very much adds to the risk factor when opening a box multiple times!

      2) Your assumption is correct. The Picnic Surprise box is the only one whose contents are available to buy outside the box and buying any of the items from the market will have no effect on the result when you open the box.

    1. I presume you are referring to the special versions for Android which are released every so often. These are essentially a substitute for the normal weekly update, with all the new content only being available to Android players when they download and install the new version. Once you've done that the new content can be viewed from any version. Goals have always been released to all versions as far as I know. :)

      I could be wrong here but I think the first of the recipes on the Windy Oven will be available for you but the other two will be locked.

      However don't hold me accountable if you go ahead and build it to find all three recipes are locked! :)

    1. As far as I know the Lace Oven has never been re-released to the market - did you complete the goals pertaining to that appliance (Tea Party goals) back in May 2014?

      Anyway, the Lace Oven was the first appliance in that goal set, and often the first appliance doesn't have its recipes locked at all. I guess that's the case here. The Windy Oven was the second appliance in the Rainy Days goals, so probably will only two of the recipes locked. :)

Also I would like to know what appliance you use to make the Fruit Flowers people who are on lower levels have it but they are cooking on it so it won't say the appliance only what is being made & I really want it oh and I am an Android player thank you Becka0716

    1. Unfortunately goals have never been re-released. However there have been a couple of occasions when appliances from old goals have been made available for a limited time so you can always hope for that.

      The Fruit Flowers are on the Fruit Bar which was one of the appliances in the Spring goals in 2014. Again it's not for sale if you didn't do those goals at the time. Sorry! :)

    1. Goals are released on a monthly basis. So if you've completed the current Independence Day goals then there's nothing for it but to wait for the next goal update. They usually come on the first Wednesday of the month, so the next will probably be this time next week - Aug 5th. :)

  25. Where can I go to see if I have mastered a dish? I did not see any pop-ups but have been baking the same thing forever. Is there any place inside the app that I can go see how close I am on dishes? Or at least a list of the ones that were mastered?

    1. When you're scrolling through a recipe list, take a look at the meter at the bottom with the chef's hat. The bar tells you how close you are to mastering a recipe, and the number on the right tells you the mastery level you're aiming towards.

      Be careful when you're approaching complete mastery (at level four) as there's no clear indication you've achieved it other than the awarding of a gem at the time. It can be easy to mistakenly think there's one more cook needed. :)

  26. Hi there. I like your blog a lot. Lots of information. I'm just wondering, is having 10m coins at level 89 too little (or just nice/ sufficient)? I want to expand my restaurant. But the next expansion will cost 1m (and so on). And the counters I want to buy with coins aren't cheap too..

      Having 10 million coins is very nice! At the end of the day it's the expansions which are the really expensive buy in the game, so I wouldn't worry about the costs of other items such as counters. They can only really make a dent in a 10 million budget.

      I would certainly be looking at making the 1 million coin expansion given your current balance. I can't be sure but I think the next one after that is 2.5 million? I'd probably go for that as well! As long as you ensure something like 2-3 million coins in reserve you should be covered for all eventualities (eg. an expensive update or goal set). :)

  27. I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I have two phones that I play RS and BS on. I want to know if there is a way to play two separate RS & BS games on one phone. I logged into my old phone storm ID on my new phone and it was going to overwrite my new games, so I canceled the action. Thanks to anyone who might have an answer for me.

    1. You're on the right track! The log in process you're speaking of is exactly what you need to do. Don't worry about the overwriting message - your game progress (across all Storm8 titles) is saved to their servers. As long as you know the Storm8 ID and password for the accounts you can dip in and out between the two as much as you like. :)

  28. I'm level 61 and I'm trying to expand to 15 ×18 for 1.5 million coins and it requires 20 neighbors. I have the coins and I have the neighbors, but when I go to expand it randomly says I need more neighbors. The same thing is happening to my friend. I've never had this problem before is it a glitch??

  29. That seems very strange Karissa. Is the 15x18 expansion the next one available to you? You have to execute the expansions in order. In other words, you can't skip any expansions.

    If it is the next one then I can't think of any reason why it won't work when you've got the coins and the neighbours. Perhaps you should try contacting Storm8 via the email support@storm8.com. :)

  30. I have a silly question. The deli displays and like the other "food" displays in the decoration area, Do these give food without having to cook or are they strictly for decoration only. Like I said silky question, but I don't want to waste space right now if they don't actually give me food. Thanx and I have become very addicted to the Halloween Vesion. First one I picked to play and I'm loving it.

    1. No, the 49 gem fee only unlocks an extra appliance slot.

      But it's worth noting that you'll maintain the extra slot forever. So when you reach the next level where a slot unlocks you'll still have one appliance more than the norm. I hope that makes sense! :)

  32. I just started & am only in level 12. My ? Is what does it mean when there's a picture of a chair, (which I have displayed) with a clock in the thought of customers? They walk out. How can I rectify this?

    1. I can't be sure, but I think your problem is a lack of food on counters? If there's no food served up then customers will have a clock above their heads when they take a seat, and after a short time will walk out in disgust.

      So you need to try and keep your counters stocked with food. I wouldn't worry too much about doing this at your level - it's pretty much impossible. Just focus on levelling up and unlocking more appliance slots. Soon enough you'll be able to sustain the counters. :)

Hello, I had my account in 2013-2014 I think and I just got it back, I'm level 99 and I have a LOT of gifts that I can't even use anymore (like the painted egg or the bunny ears)and it takesa lot of spots.. so I'm full on gifts really soon. Is there anything I can do to delete this parts ? Thanks

    1. There isn't any way to delete spare gifts. But it shouldn't be a problem as there are no limits on how many different gifts you can hold. The only limit is that you can only hold around 33,000 of any particular gift - that shouldn't be an issue for parts!

  34. Is there a list of keyboard shortcuts for this game anywhere?
    I have a small section of my screen unable to click and it happens to fall on the quests section.

    1. There aren't any keyboard shortcuts as far as I'm aware.

      Can you not just tilt your screen around, thus placing the section with the goals clipboard on the opposite side from your dead screen? :)

  35. Probably a stupid question, but there are some appliances that I want to build that I've noticed other people are currently building. Even though I have some appliances in storage and have enough room to build them, they are still showing up as locked. Will they always be locked and not available anymore? What a bummer if so!

    1. You need to purchase the constructible appliance you wish to build. Then outside of design mode double tap the box of parts that appears in your restaurant. This will bring up a window with the parts needed for this particular appliance and you can send requests for any one of them to neighbours using the 'request' button. :)

    1. I assume you're referring to the orientation of the game on your screen? Is it stuck on portrait?

      Whatever the case, best to do the force close (outside game double tap home button and swipe Restaurant Story away) and reinstalling.

  40. I'm sorry if this long and confusing. I started playing RS a few years back. I was level 70. I played that and bakery story and fashion story on the iPad and my android phone. Then one day. I logged in on my phone and restaurant story had started back at the beginning. But it was fine on my iPad. So I just kept playing it on there, and uninstalled it from my phone. Then 2 days ago, the iPad updated. And I found that too was back at the beginning. It appears from what I can find on line groups etc,, I never opened it on Facebook before the update and. So I may have lost it all I was level 70 something and had spent real money on it. It didn't seem to matter what I did. I couldn't get it back. So I just installed it on my phone. And yes. It's a different one again. Right back at the beginning, so I can't get my original restaurant back, or the new iPad version back.

    Bakery story and fashion story are completely fine and dandy on both devices.

    Can you help ? S8 have not replied to my messages :( or emails :(

    1. You're not alone with this problem, and the most important thing to note is that your game has not been lost - your progress is saved on Storm8's servers. It's just a case of finding a way to get it back.

      First port of call is the Game Center. Try logging out of it (go to Settings > Game Center). Then ensuring the game has been force closed (double tap home button and scroll RS away), log back into the Game Center. If you're lucky your original game will be waiting for you.

      If this doesn't work, try playing the fresh level 1 game. I actually went through a very similar situation with BS2 earlier this week, and when I levelled up to level 2 the game refreshed and loaded up my original account. So definitely give that a go.

      If that is unsuccessful then there's not a lot more I can say. Usually I suggest that players get in touch with Storm8's support team, but you've already done that and like you I've had limited success in the past with even getting a response out of them.

      This bug is a real mess and seems to have affected a lot of players big time. Hope you get it sorted one way or another! :)

    3. Me again. It looks like it's well and truely gone. I logged out of Facebook and when I logged back in, it gave me the choice of two games, one on Facebook, which is the current game, and one on cloud which is the one on my phone. But not my original. I wish I'd come across your blog earlier, had I back when it disappeared from my phone I may have had a chance to save it then, but alas, it really looks like it is gone :(.   41. My husban switched from his restaurant to mine on his phone only problem is e never created a password only had a storm id is there anything we can do to get his back.i already emailed the company

    1. Until the account transfer feature was added to the game (it has since been removed) setting a password was only necessary for accessing the Storm8 Forum. So chances are your husband's account hasn't vanished to the nothingness because of the lack of a password!

      As for getting it back, is his phone running iOS? If so it may be possible that he can log in via the Game Center if he had linked his game up with it. Otherwise you're best to just keep trying to get in touch with Storm8 - they aren't the best at responding so just keep at them and hopefully they'll offer some support. :)

    1. I assume you're referring to the Halloween goals from 2013 which were re-released yesterday.

      They are only available to players who had not completed the first step prior the last time they were around. So if you weren't playing then or didn't bother with them they should be there - otherwise there's no new goals right now. :)

  43. I'm stuck on Level 60 in Restaurant Story 2. What can I do to get to Level 61.

    1. Currently level 60 is the highest level you can reach. It's been a long time now since Storm8 last raised the level cap so they're certainly due to do so again at some point hopefully.

      Any XP you earn while on level 60 will be counted if and when more levels are added so keep at it and you can expect to jump up when more levels are released. :)

    1. Unfortunately Storm8 decided to remove the account login feature in favour of using the Game Center to sync the game. This means that you can only have one game per Apple ID.

      Very frustrating - it meant I was locked out of my secondary account. As far as I know there's no way around it, but if you find a solution do please share! :)

  45. I have lots of stove that has not open because when I just started I couldn't find which stove some stuff in. I've made requirements but haven't got a reply. Therefore lots of stove that I see my neighbours with are still locked for me. Is there anyway I'm going to get them open. Await your reply. Thanks

    1. If you are referring to appliances which you cannot access because they are 'locked by goal' then I'm afraid you won't be able to get hold of them as the various goal sets they were released with have expired.

      However there's always a chance that one or two may be re-released so it's worth keeping an eye out for any special sales. :)

  46. hi can u please help me to decide. which one is best to do.. buying sonic grill with 42 gems or expanding my restaurant for 40 gems? I am lvl 44 . thanks in advance.

    1. A Sonic Grill will reduce the cook time of recipes on it by two hours. Personally I don't see this as being of much use - unless you were to purchase an entire bank of Sonic Grills then you won't get the full effect of the shorter cook time.

      I'm not sure what size your restaurant is, but expanding using gems is certainly something plenty of players do. However I'd recommend waiting until you reach some of the later expansions where the cost in coins in astronomical - for example my next expansion is 26x29 and requires 22.5 million coins!

      At the end of the day it's really your choice. Personally I only spend my gems on decor as expanding with coins is always going to be an option, even if the sums needed can be daunting! :)

  47. hi Igloo Man. thanks for tirelessly responding to our questions. my concern is i really wanted to have the Spanish Fountain ever since. but unfortunately i was still not a player when the Spanish goal happened. is there any other way to get the fountain? or when will the Spanish goal happen again?

    1. Unfortunately once a set of goals expires that's the chance to get the related appliances gone.

      However of late we have seen goal appliances re-released as part of wider sales, so there's always a small possibility the Spanish Fountain could return that way. Maybe it could come back as part of a summer sale in the near future?

  48. Hi. I had restaurant story about seven years ago on my iPhone four or five and got to a very high-level then stops playing for a few years. I now have an iPhone 7 and just recently downloaded the Restaurant story app to my phone. is there a way to access my old game from seven years ago? Thank you

    1. Did you set up a Storm8 ID and password on your old account? If so your progress will have been saved to Storm8's server so will certainly still exist.

      These days, at least on iOS, your account is linked to Game Center so if you are using the same Apple ID as before you should be able to access your game so long as you are logged into Game Center. A Storm8 ID might not even be necessary for this.

      If you have any issues it would be best to submit a support form to Storm8 at https://support.storm8.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

      Hope you get your old game back! :)

    1. Yes Storm8 IDs were around from the start as far as I know.

      But since your Apple ID is still the same I reckon your best shot is to log into Game Center and then open the game. Hopefully you'll be transported back to your old place! :)

  50. Hi. I don't see any questions here about gems. I had purchased some gems quite a while ago. Now it will no longer give me the option of free gems, even though it's been quite some time. Will the free gems option not return since I had purchased some?

    1. The official line from Storm8 is that the free gem videos are offered to players at random - personally I had them for a long time and then they stopped, and that was without a purchase.

      I guess it's a case of enjoying them while they last, but there's always a chance they may return. Here's hoping anyway! :)

  51. I'm on level 19 of RS story...I haven't had any goals to complete since the pirates, which I unfortunately didn't complete. Will any ever pop up again and does not completing the pirates goal have anything to do with it? When do cruises appear?

  52. Why did my goals box disappear? I missed a challenge deadline and it asked if I wanted to pay 26 gems to receive the rewards. I said no and my goals box disappear after that.

    1. Hey Josie, unfortunately once a set of goals expires that's it gone forever. If there are no other sets of goals currently running then the goals clipboard will not show.

      At the moment there doesn't tend to be too long between batches of goals so you should never go too long without the clipboard! :)

    1. Hi Sheila, do you send your gifts fairly late in the 24 hour Storm8 day? (starts at 08:00 GMT). Typically you'd get that message if the neighbour you're sending to has already accepted their maximum of 20 gifts for the day so if that is the case then there's your answer.

      Otherwise it may just be that you have very popular neighbours who get all their daily gifts right after reset time. Whatever the case I don't think it's an issue of your creation! :)

  56. Hi! Have you had any issues on missing dishes from a particular stove or oven? My Sapphire Oven, Ye Old Stove, Founders Oven and Hot Rod Oven show an empty list when I put them to use. :(

  57. Hi I notice you may have touched on this before but I am still confused. I have two bakery story accounts. One on my phone and one on my computer. But I on the computer i cannot switch to my other account. When I type in my storm ID and my password it asks for me to overwrite my current data with the new account im trying to log into. I would like to keep my two accounts. But I'm not sure how I could play both accounts on the same computer. Sorry if this is confusing. Thank you
