Winter 2016 goals (in full)

Please note that this set of goals expired on Sunday 14th February 2016.

With the most recent update we've all been invited to a winter wedding, and that means there's a lot to be done to get our restaurants ready for the loving couple. A new set of goals will certainly help us make the place pretty for the occasion.

Within this quest there are three floor decorations, two appliances and six recipes to unlock, and there are 33 days available to do so. That means the expected end date for this goal set is Sunday 14th February. How apt that the newly weds will be heading off on their honeymoon on Valentine's Day!

Before I start a best man speech, let's take a look at the complete list of goal steps:

 Step 1: Save The Date!

• Buy 6 Winter Wedding Wallpapers ... any wallpaper is acceptable.
• Buy 12 Snow Love Floor Tiles ... any floor tile is acceptable.

Completion of this opening goal will unlock the first of the new cookers.

Unlocking of Nuptial Stove

The Nuptial Stove can be found towards the end of the appliances tab, and will need to be bought in Step 2.

 Step 2: First Snowball

• Build 1 Nuptial Stove ... this costs 24,000 coins and requires 5 Mallets, 5 Iron Presses and 5 Blue Rose Knobs to build. Note that the Blue Rose Knob is a new part which can be gifted.
• Serve 12 Hors D'oeuvres ... these are found on the Nuptial Stove and take 1 hour to prepare.

Step 2: First Snowball

Now the Chicken Plate becomes available.

This is the second dish on the Nuptial Stove and is integral to Step 3.

 Step 3: Hearts Taking Flight!

• Serve 14 Chicken Plates ... these are found on the Nuptial Stove and take 2 hours to prepare.
• Buy 2 Rose Garlands ... these cost 19,000 coins each.

Once those Chicken Plates are all served up an equally imaginative recipe will lose its padlock.

The Steak Plate is the last of the Nuptial Stove offerings and is involved in Step 4.

 Step 4: I'll Steak My Heart On It

• Serve 16 Steak Plate ... these are found on the Nuptial Stove and take 3 hours to prepare.
• Visit 12 Community Members ... neighbours are not counted.
• Leave 12 Tips ... tips left at neighbours are counted.

After finishing this step, the Nuptial Oven becomes accessible.

This is the second of the appliances and is at the forefront of Step 5. However at this stage there's also another goal will pop up, Sidestep A, which need completing if you are to progress all the way to the end.

 Step 5: Sweet Reprieve

• Build 2 Nuptial Ovens ... this costs 32,000 coins and requires 5 Brass Diverters, 5 Feather Fan Knobs and 5 Alpine Knobs to build. Note that the Alpine Knob is a new part which can be gifted. One Nuptial Oven was given fully built for free for completing Step 4.
• Prepare 18 Love Cupcakes ... these are found on the Nuptial Oven and take 2 hours to prepare.
• Serve 18 Love Cupcakes

Step 5: Sweet Reprieve

By getting those cupcakes out, the next dish on the Nuptial Oven unlocks.

Unlocking of Cake Samples

The Cake Samples is a 4 hour recipe and is the focus of Step 6. But you won't be able to access this step until after completing Sidestep A. Meanwhile Sidestep B will now appear, and again needs to be done in order to finish the goals as a whole.

 Step 6: You Take The Cake!
 Available after completing Sidestep A

• Prepare 22 Cake Samples ... these are found on the Nuptial Oven and take 4 hours to prepare.
• Serve 22 Cake Samples
• Have 1 Winter Spread ... this costs 17,200 coins. Find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.

Step 6: You Take The Cake!

Completing this step opens up the Ring Barker.

Now you're ready for the final goal, Step 7, which will require you to buy this costumed dog.

 Step 7: New Year Newlyweds

• Prepare 26 Winter Cakes ... these are found on the Nuptial Oven and take 6 hours to prepare.
• Serve 26 Winter Cakes
• Have 1 Ring Barker ... this costs 22,000 coins. Find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.

Step 7: New Year Newlyweds

And that's it! Having fulfilled the requirements of the final goal, you receive the Snow Ceremony.

Weighing in at 4x4 in size, this prize is located near the end of the floor decorations tab.

 Sidestep A: You Blue Me Away
 Available after completing Step 4

• Ask Neighbours for 5 Blue Petals ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.
• Have 2 Winter Bouquets ... these cost 16,000 coins each.

Once all those petals come in you'll unlock the Winter Spread.

This floor decoration needs to be purchased in Step 6.

 Sidestep B: Say, "I Do!"
 Available after completing Step 5

• Have 3 Alpine Tables ... these cost 16,000 coins each.
• Have 4 Alpine Chairs ... these cost 11,000 coins each.

Those buys are rewarded with access to the last recipe on the Nuptial Oven.

Unlocking of Winter Cake

The Winter Cake is a 6 hour dish and is the focal point in the concluding goal, Step 7. Be aware that any Winter Cakes you prepare before finishing Step 6 won't be counted when you get to the final step!
