Please note that this set of goals expired on Monday 11th August 2014.
With the
latest update comes a new set of goals.
There are five items from the Riverboat update which can only be obtained by working through the goals. You've got 34 days to complete the goals, so the likely end date is Monday 11th August.
Here's the complete list of goal steps:
Step 1: Riverboat Run
- Buy 8 Riverside Wallpapers ... any wallpaper is acceptable.
- Buy 16 River Lily Tiles ... these cost 1,410 coins each.

For purchasing those wallpapers and floor tiles, you unlock the first of the new appliances, the
Riverboat Oven.

This oven is first used in
Step 2. Meanwhile,
Sidestep A is now also available.
Step 2: Shrimp Sailing
- Have 1 Riverboat Oven ... these cost 11,200 coins each and require 6 Red Gears and 4 Wagon Wheels to build. Note that initially no construction was required.
- Serve 10 Fried Shrimp ... these are found on the Riverboat Oven and take 4 hours to prepare. Note that originally this recipe was a 5 hour dish.

By serving up all that shrimp the second recipe on the Riverboat Oven is unlocked.

The
Tuna Croquette needs to be cooked as part of
Step 3. At this point
Sidestep B also becomes available.
Step 3: A Tuna Treat
- Serve 12 Tuna Croquette ... these are found on the Riverboat Oven and take 6 hours to prepare.
- Buy 4 Riverboat Tables ... these are locked until you complete Sidestep A and cost 9,000 coins each.
- Have 4 Riverboat Stools ... these cost 3,500 coins each.

Unsurprisingly, access is now granted to the last of the Riverboat Oven dishes.

The
Crab Dip is central to
Step 4.
Step 4: Captain Phoebe to the Rescue
- Serve 15 Crab Dips ... these are found on the Riverboat Oven and take 8 hours to prepare.
- Have 1 Captain Phoebe ... this is locked until you complete Sidestep B and costs 12,500 coins. Find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.
- Ask Neighbours for 5 Fishing Hooks ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.

For your efforts with the Crab Dip, the second appliance is unlocked.

One Fish Stand is given to you for free, with another needed in
Step 5.
Step 5: Teach a Man to Fish
- Have 2 Fish Stands ... these cost 12,600 coins each although one was given free for completing Step 4. They require 2 Wiring, 8 Metal Sheets, 6 Paint and 4 Screws to build.
- Prepare 25 Catfish ... these are found on the Fish Stand and take 6 hours to prepare. Note that originally this recipe was a 4 hour dish.
- Serve 25 Catfish

By knocking out those catfish, you gain access to the next recipe.

Rainbow Trout is the focus of
Step 6.
Step 6: Taste the Rainbow Trout
- Prepare 30 Rainbow Trout ... these are found on the Fish Stand and take 8 hours to prepare. Note that originally this recipe was a 5 hour dish.
- Serve 30 Rainbow Trout

Haddock is a 10 hour recipe, and is the subject of the final goal,

- Prepare 35 Haddock ... these are found on the Fish Stand and take 10 hours to prepare.

You are of course given one of these 5x4 sized pieces for free, and more can be purchased for 62,000 coins each.

Available after completing Step 1
- Have 3 Riverboat Counters ... these cost 8,400 coins each.
- Buy 1 Fresh Catch Sign ... this costs 9,500 coins.

Great overview of the Riverboat goals, thanks! One question - what do you mean the Catfish was originally a 4 hour dish and the Rainbow Trout was originally 5 hrs? Where/on what appliance did these dishes first appear with these times?
ReplyDeleteWhen the goals were first released, several of the recipes on the new appliances had different durations, including the Catfish and Rainbow Trout.
DeleteI didn't actually witness this personally (although I did for the Riverboat Oven dishes) but I have read posts over on the TL Forum about the changes. :)
