Got your cauldron? Got your ingredients? Then let's get brewing! The
latest update brings with it a new set of goals to celebrate Halloween.
There is a chair, counter and floor decoration to unlock in this quest, along with two appliances which yield six new recipes. So get busy! You've got 29 days to get finished before the goals head to the land of the dead forever, so that means the deadline should be Wednesday 11th November 2015.
Here's the complete list of steps:
Step 1: Phoebe's Halloween
- Buy 10 Witch Stripes Wallpapers ... any wallpaper is acceptable.
- Have 10 Moon and Stars Floors ... these cost 4,300 coins each.

For your efforts on this opening goal, the
Witchy Stove is unlocked.

The first of the new appliances, this will be utilised from
Step 2.
Step 2: Witchy Woman
- Build 1 Witchy Stove ... this costs 12,600 coins and requires 5 Brass Diverters, 5 Mallets and 5 Moon Knobs to build. Note that the Moon Knob is a new part which can be gifted.
- Prepare 6 Cheese Pumps ... these are found on the Witchy Stove and take 1 hour to prepare.
- Serve 6 Cheese Pumps

After those pumps are pumped out, the second recipe on the Witchy Stove becomes available.

Party Peppers are a 2 hour dish and are the subject of
Step 3.
Step 3: Party Poltergeist
- Prepare 10 Party Peppers ... these are found on the Witchy Stove and take 2 hours to prepare.

Once the peppers are all served up, the
Batty Bean Dip loses its padlock.

The last offering on the Witchy Stove, this recipe is central to
Step 4.
Step 4: Going Batty
- Prepare 12 Batty Bean Dips ... these are found on the Witchy Stove and take 3 hours to prepare.

Now the
Witchy Counter is unlocked.

Coming at 9,600 coins each, six of this counter need to be bought in
Step 5.
Step 5: What a Witch Wants
- Ask Neighbours for 11 Magic Wands ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.
- Ask Neighbours for 11 Witch's Hats ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours. Note that you can only have 20 requests accepted per day, so these two requirements need to be completed over two game days!
- Have 6 Witchy Counters ... these cost 9,600 coins each. Find them towards the end of the counters tab.

After your eternal wait for those wands and hats, the reward is the second new appliance.

The
Witch's Brew contains a further three recipes which will be utilised in future steps. One copy of the appliance is given free while another needs to be put together in
Step 6.
Step 6: Potion Commotion
- Build 2 Witch's Brews ... this costs 16,600 coins (although one is given to you for free) and requires 5 Mallets, 5 Iron Presses and 5 Star Knobs to build. Note that the Star Knob is a new part which can be gifted.
- Prepare 7 Green Potions ... these are found on the Witch's Brew and take 3 hours to prepare.

By concocting that first collection of potions, the
Witch's Throne is unlocked.

There's a 'trone' asked for in the next goal, but I can assure you that it is definitely this chair! You'll need six of them in
Step 7 to progress further.
Step 7: Cast A Spell
- Have 6 Crescent Moon Tables ... these cost 13,000 coins each.
- Have 6 Witch's Throne Chairs ... these cost 8,900 coins each. Find them towards the end of the chairs tab.

For purchasing the necessary tables and chairs, you'll gain access to the
Red Potion.

This is the second drink found on the Witch's Brew and needs brewing in
Step 8.
Step 8: A Warm Witch Welcome
- Have 1 Spooky Hats ... this costs 8,200 coins.
- Serve 14 Red Potions ... these are found on the Witch's Brew and take 6 hours to prepare.

Once the red potions are sorted, the last new recipe is uncovered.

Purple Potion is again on the Witch's Brew, and is the focus of the concluding stage,
Step 9.

- Have 1 Potion Vials ... this costs 11,600 coins.
- Serve 17 Purple Potions ... these are found on the Witch's Brew and take 9 hours to prepare.

This 4x4 item can be found towards the end of the floor decorations tab. Further copies can be bought for 44,000 coins.
What about the witches cauldron and haunted stove that say ( locked by goal) how do we unlock those?
ReplyDelete'Unknown' is right Rachel. The Witch's Cauldron and Haunted Oven are both from last year's Halloween goals.
DeleteUnfortunately that means they can't be unlocked now, although you never know - there could be a limited time sale in the next week or two that includes them. Here's hoping! :)
