Father's Day is almost here, and along with
this week's update is an opportunity to give the old man a special occasion, with a new goal set.
You've got 30 days on the clock to complete this quest after which time it will be gone forever. Getting through it all will earn you access to three floor decorations, two appliances and six recipes, so it's well worth giving it a bash.
Let's get to the complete goal steps:
Step 1: Decor for Dad
- Buy 12 Striped Wallpapers ... any wallpaper is acceptable.
- Buy 28 Wood Deck tiles ... these cost 5,000 coins each.

After those first purchases are made you will gain access to the
Grill.

Imaginatively named, this is the first of two new appliances in this quest. It features across the next few goals, starting with
Step 2 where one needs to be built.
Step 2: Fire It Up
- Build 1 Grill ... this costs 12,000 coins and requires 6 Screws, 6 Broiler Pans and 4 Grill Gears to build. Note that the Grill Gear is a new part which can be gifted.
- Serve 12 Veggie Kabobs ... these are found on the Grill and take 1 hour to prepare.

After getting those kabobs out the
Grilled Nectarines are unlocked.

You'll need to prepare plenty of these in
Step 3.
Step 3: Fiery Fruit
- Serve 18 Grilled Nectarines ... these are found on the Grill and take 2 hours to prepare.
- Buy 1 World's Best Dad Picture ... this costs 11,000 coins.

For your efforts with this goal the last of the dishes on the Grill becomes available.

The
Stuft Grilled Peppers are at the centre of
Step 4.
Step 4: Party for Pops
- Serve 24 Stuft Grilled Peppers ... these are found on the Grill and take 4 hours to prepare.
- Visit 6 Community Members ... neighbours are not counted.
- Leave 6 Tips ... tips left at neighbours are counted.

At this point the
Smoker unlocks, with one given to you fully built for free.

This is the second new appliance involved in this goal set. It is essential in the remainder of the main strand of steps, starting with
Step 5. In addition,
Sidestep A now pops up and needs completing if you are to finish the main strand.
Step 5: An Upstream Recipe
- Build 2 Smokers ... this costs 32,000 coins and requires 6 Knobs, 6 Springs and 4 Smoke Screws to build. Note that the Smoke Screw is a new part which can be gifted. Also note that the Smoker is a 2x1 sized appliance.
- Prepare 16 Smoked Salmon ... these are found on the Smoker and take 3 hours to prepare.
- Serve 16 Smoked Salmon

Now the second recipe aboard the Smoker is yours for the taking.

Smoked Chicken is a 5 hour effort, and is the focus of
Step 6.
Step 6: The Way to a Dad's Heart
- Prepare 22 Smoked Chickens ... these are found on the Smoker and take 5 hours to prepare.
- Serve 22 Smoked Chickens
- Have 2 Hightop Seating Areas... these are locked until you complete Sidestep A and cost 14,000 coins each.

You're almost there! The
Smoked Ribs are now available to cook. This is the last of the recipes on the Smoker and is the subject of
Step 7, the final goal.
Step 7: Savory and Smoky
- Prepare 34 Smoked Ribs ... these are found on the Smoker and take 7 hours to prepare.
- Serve 34 Smoked Ribs
- Have 4 Crystal Fire Pits ... these are locked until you complete Sidestep B and cost 4,000 coins each.

This is the climactic goal, with the
BBQ Island rewarded for its completion.
Sidestep A: Chip Off the Old Block
Available after completing Step 4
- Ask Neighbours for 10 Wood Chips ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.
- Have 4 BBQ Counters ... these cost 14,000 coins each.

This 3x3 floor decoration will need to be purchased in the final challenge,
Step 7. At this point
Sidestep B will appear.

Available after completing Sidestep A
- Have 8 Charcoal Patio Tables ... these cost 16,000 coins each.
- Have 8 Charcoal Patio Chairs ... these cost 12,000 coins each.
