| Notification for Christmas content removal |
Usually these removals are announced alongside the weekly update, but yesterday it came a number of hours later for some reason. Perhaps this was related to the lateness of the update itself going up?
Whatever the case, the notification indicates that the pulling of festive stuff will be a three week job. This is understandable since there is more Christmas themed content than for most special events, and it follows on from the Autumn removal which was done in two parts. Presumably only those items listed as limited time at present will be dropped in this particular wave which is due this coming Tuesday.

As is customary with a modern day removal, Storm8 are making the erasing of stuff easier to bear with a 20% sale. The discounts have already been applied to all the prices shown above.
What is interesting with this removal is that the gamemakers have opted to actually throw some old content back in with the stuff that was already in the market. The likes of the Mounted Skis and Holiday Tree floor tiles have not seen the light of day for some time, so it's weird to have them brought out for a limited time to sweeten a removal occurring in March!
Also brought back are the Chestnut Roaster and Holiday Drink Machine. These two appliances never did get a re-release at Christmas, so it's nice to get them now even if it is more than two months late. They only hold three recipes between them, but that's still six mastery gems up for grabs - I suggest that if you haven't already got these cookers then it's probably best to focus on putting them together right now rather than dealing with the mystery crime party goals which have got much longer to run.

I'm worried I won't have enough gems in the upcoming weeks!! It's so nice of TL to offer 20% off though... And some old items. I was eyeing those skis at other restaurants this past winter. Yay!
