Thanksgiving 2013 goals (in full)

Please note that this set of goals expired on Monday 9th December 2013.

As part of the opening Thanksgiving update, a new set of goals has arrived on Restaurant Story.

These goals unlock six items which are otherwise unavailable, including two appliances.

There are 34 days to complete the goals, so they should disappear forever on Monday 9th December, at which time Christmas content will probably be rolling out.

Here it is then...

 Step 1: Thanksgiving!

  • Buy 12 Fall Leaves Floor Tiles ... these cost 700 coins each.
  • Buy 8 Autumn Afternoon Wallpaper ... any wallpaper is acceptable.

  1. One nice change: step 2 actually mentions that sidestep A needs to be completed for the item to unlock. I guess TL got tired of seeing the same question over and over on their boards? A good move, though, for clarity's sake.

    1. Agreed. I didn't spot this to start with, but it certainly helps work out the links between the goals ahead of time :)

    1. I'm not there yet, but as this is the case, I reckon that they'll be needed to complete a goal (ie. 'collect x Wood Chips from your neighbours') rather than to build the second appliance :)

    2. You're correct; they are for the goal "a teacher's test", the third goal on the autumn oven. You only need 10 of them, so don't accept more than that, but if your neighbors send them as gifts, they do count towards the 10 for the goal, so you can knock part of it out of the way early rather than having to request them like usual.
I don't think you can see them in your inventory, unfortunately, so if you want to try to accept 10 ahead of time, you'll have to keep track on your own.

  3. Trying to figure out why I'm not able to buy the Autumn lamps, I have plenty of coins for the purchase but once i click on them as if I'm going to buy it wont show up and give me the option to click again to buy. Is anyone else having this issue? And its unlocked as well

    1. Remember that it's a wall decoration so you need to be tapping on the wall :)

  4. Does anyone know the parts needed to build the BBQ oven for the goals?

    1. BBQ Oven needs 5 screws, 5 Paint Brush(Same as that of Autumn Oven) and 5 Springs.

  6. When ever you send a request for parts you do not get the option to "accept" or "decline" them! Once the request is sent, you WILL receive the item in your inventory (if it is sent by the other player) whether you want it or need it anymore! I found out the hard way! I sent a request to all my neighbors on my first build. I built it the next morning and later notices I had 87 sheets of steel in my "GIFTS". I never accepted them! And it does count towards your max, so be careful how many requests you send for stuff!!

    1. That's correct. It's best to firstly send requests only to a few dependable neighbours who you know will get back to you quickly.

And remember that any requests which don't get fulfilled on one day (you can only have 20 accepted) are carried over to the next, so your 'system' can get clogged up.

  7. I bought my autumn oven but can't purchase anymore appliances for another 3 levels. Can the knobs and paint brushes be gifted?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They can - if your neighbours send enough Red Knobs and Paint Brushes to you then by the time you unlock another appliance slot you'll be able to build another Autumn Oven immediately. Part requests can only be sent when you've purchased an appliance and ar trying to contruct it :)

    2. If you want more Autumn Oven, you can just store one of your other Appliances to inventory and then purchase a new Autumn oven. When you are ordering new Build-able Oven, ensure that you have all the parts with you. You can just request the items from friends as Gift.

    1. The Thanksgiving Desserts was a goal item from 2012 so isn't available this year sadly. The same goes for a few other items you might have come across such as the Thanksgiving Display and Wagon of Pumpkins.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like TeamLava are going to re-release these items like they did with Halloween stuff from 2012 recently :)
