New York Broadway goals (in full)

Please note that this set of goals expired on Saturday 20th May 2017.

We're starring on Broadway for two weeks only! Alongside the most recent update was a new set of goals, with 16 days available to complete them - that give you until Saturday 20th May to lower the final curtain.

Working your way through the numerous steps is the only way to access the unlocked content from the update, including two floor decorations, two appliances and six recipes.

Right, let's get to it (just don't fluff your lines!) Here is the complete list of steps:

 Step 1: Return To The City

• Buy 8 Times Square wallpaper ... any wallpaper is acceptable.
• Buy 12 Lit Walkways ... any floor tile is acceptable.

Step 1: Return To The City

Those initial purchases unlock the Manhattan Oven.

This is the first of two appliances obtainable in these goals, with one needing to be built in Step 2.

 Step 2: We'll Have Manhattan

• Build 1 Manhattan Oven ... this costs 17,000 coins and requires 6 Heart Knobs, 7 McIntosh Knobs and 7 Big Apple Gears to build. The Big Apple gear is a new part which can be gifted (although could not at the initial release of the goals).
• Serve 12 NY Cupcakes ... this is found on the Manhattan Oven and takes 2 hours to prepare.
• Have 2 Skyline Counters ... these cost 7,000 coins each.

Step 2: We'll Have Manhattan

For finishing this step the next dish on the Manhattan Oven becomes accessible.

Unlocking of Peach Croissant Donut

The Peach Croissant Donut is a 3 hour effort and is central to Step 3.

 Step 3: Home Of The Cronut

• Serve 12 Peach Croissant Donuts ... this is found on the Manhattan Oven and takes 3 hours to prepare.
• Ask Neighbours for 6 Programs ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.

Step 3: Home Of The Cronut

The Bacon Waffles loses its padlock upon completion of this goal.

A 4 hour recipe, this is the third and final food on the Manhattan Oven and features in Step 4.

 Step 4: Makin' Waffles, Makin' Bacon Waffles

• Serve 12 Bacon Waffles ... this is found on the Manhattan Oven and takes 4 hours to prepare.
• Buy 2 Broadway Signs ... these cost 14,000 coins each.

Step 4: Makin' Waffles, Makin' Bacon Waffles

Once you get through these tasks the second appliance is yours.

Unlocking of Food Cart Grill

A Food Cart Grill is given to you free while another will need to be built in Step 5.

 Step 5: Avenue K-abobs

• Build  2 Food Cart Grills ... this costs 32,000 coins and requires 7 Broiler Pans, 6 Sauce Bottles and 7 Pieces of Foil to build. The Pieces of Foil is a new part which can be gifted (although could not at the initial release of the goals). One Food Cart Grill is given free for completing Step 4.
• Serve 10 Halal Kabobs ... this is found on the Food Cart Grill and takes 2 hours to prepare.

Step 5: Avenue K-abobs

In an unusual twist, finishing this step results in you receiving the Lady Liberty floor decoration for free.

Rewarding of Lady Liberty

This 1x1 item was a goal prize in the previous New York goals in September 2015 - very nice of Storm8 to give everyone the opportunity to obtain it again!

 Step 6: There's Nothing You Can't Do

• Visit 12 Community Members ... neighbours are not counted.
• Leave 12 Tips ... tips left at neighbours are counted.
• Have 1 Lady Liberty ... this is given to you free for completing Step 5.

Step 6: There's Nothing You Can't Do

Completing your visits around the community results in the next dish on the Food Cart Grill being unlocked.

Unlocking of Tamales

The Tamales is a 4 hour entry and stars in Step 7.

 Step 7: Hey, I'm Walking Here!

• Serve 10 Tamales ... this is found on the Food Cart Grill and takes 4 hours to prepare.
• Buy 1 Taxi Cab ... this costs 25,000 coins.
• Ask Neighbours for 6 Metro Cards ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.

Step 7: Hey, I'm Walking Here!

Now the NY Slice opens up.

This is the last of the recipes located on the Food Cart Grill and requires cooking in Step 8. At this stage Sidestep A also pops up - you'll need to complete this in order to finish off Step 8.

 Step 8: Top Of The Rock

• Serve 10 NY Slices ... this is found on the Food Cart Grill and takes 5 hours to prepare.
• Have 1 Miniature Empire State ... this is locked until you complete Sidestep A and costs 35,000 coins.

Step 8: Top Of The Rock

This is the concluding goal, with the Miniature Brooklyn Bridge the final reward - find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.

You can purchase further editions of this 4x4 prize for 80,000 coins each.

 Sidestep A: Concrete Jungle
 Available after completing Step 7

• Have 4 Stage Tables ... these cost 9,000 coins each.
• Have 4 Amplifier Seats ... these cost 8,000 coins each.

Sidestep A: Concrete Jungle

Buying those tables and chairs will get you access to the Miniature Empire State.

A 2x2 floor decoration, this piece needs to be purchased in Step 8.
