Game update: 01/05/13

As we enter May, there's a real treat in Restaurant Story - another new set of goals!

Notification for Gran-Gran update

There are actually very few new items, just five to be precise:

Tables:

• Gran-Gran's Table - locked by goal

Chairs:

• Gran-Gran's Chair - locked by goal

Wall decorations:

• Gran-Gran's Dancing Shoes - locked by goal

Floor decorations:

• Phonograph - locked by goal (not shown in Design Mode until unlocked)
• Swing Dance Floor - locked by goal

As you can see, all of these Gran-Gran items are locked by goal. To unlock them you need to complete the Gran-Gran goals.

So a pretty quiet week for new stuff, but the goals are great to see, as that makes for four sets of goals in as many months following Valentine's, Action-Chef Lee and Spring.

However the Gran-Gran goals are designed for new players, making them much easier to complete, and a bit of a walkover at times for experienced players such as myself. However TeamLava need to cater for everyone, and this is a good way to keep low-level players from quitting the game.
