At the heart of the
latest update is a new set of goals revolving around a pizza theme.
Once again there are three floor decorations, two appliances and six recipes to be unearthed, and it's only via these goals you can do so. The timer is giving 34 days to complete the goal set, so make sure you're done by Monday 6th October.
Here's the complete list of goal steps:
Step 1: An Italian Insight
- Buy 7 Aged Brick Wallpapers ... any wallpaper is acceptable.
- Buy 14 Pizza Stone Tiles ... these cost 1,250 coins each.

Once you've made those initial purchases the first of the new appliances, the Salad Station, is unlocked.

You'll need to build one and use it in
Step 2.
Step 2: Caesar Salad Shenanigans
- Have 1 Salad Station ... these cost 13,500 coins each and require 4 Springs and 6 Sturdy Wood to build.
- Serve 8 Caesar Salads ... these are found on the Salad Station and take 2 hours to prepare.
- Buy 1 Pizza Menu ... this costs 8,000 coins.

The
Italian Salad needs to be prepared in
Step 3.

- Serve 10 Italian Salads ... these are found on the Salad Station and take 4 hours to prepare.
- Have 3 Aged Brick Counters ... these cost 7,000 coins each.

For putting together those salads the
Pomegranate Salad is unlocked.

This is the third Salad Station dish, and is at the centre of
Step 4.
Step 4: A Brick Bounty
- Serve 12 Pomegranate Salads ... these are found on the Salad Station and take 6 hours to prepare.
- Ask Neighbours for 8 Aged Bricks ... tap 'Ask' and send requests for these to neighbours.

By gathering those bricks the second of the new appliances is unlocked.

One fully constructed
Wood Burning Oven is given to you free, and another is needed in
Step 5. At this point
Sidestep A also opens up.
Step 5: Say Cheese
- Have 2 Wood Burning Ovens ... these cost 14,000 coins each and one is given free for completing Step 4. They require 8 Paint Brushes, 6 Metal Sheets, 4 White Springs and 2 Screws to build.
- Prepare 20 Cheese Pizzas ... these are found on the Wood Burning Oven and take 4 hours to prepare.
- Serve 20 Cheese Pizzas

Completion of this goal gives access to the
Pizza Display.

The purchase of this floor decoration is a requirement in
Sidestep A.
Step 6: A Tropical Touch
- Prepare 25 Hawaiian Pizzas ... these are found on the Wood Burning Oven and take 6 hours to prepare.
- Serve 25 Hawaiian Pizzas
- Have 1 Pizza Delivery Bike ... this is locked until you complete Sidestep B and costs 15,000 coins. Find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.

Serving all those Hawaiian Pizzas unlocks the final new recipe.

Step 7, the climactic goal.

- Prepare 30 Combination Pizzas ... these are found on the Wood Burning Oven and take 8 hours to prepare.

This is a 4x4 sized piece with lots of bells and whistles. You can buy further copies of it for 60,000 coins.

- Visit 15 Community Members ... neighbours are not counted.
- Leave 15 Tips ... tips left at neighbours are counted.
- Buy 1 Pizza Display ... this is locked until you complete Step 5 and costs 30,000 coins. Find it towards the end of the floor decorations tab.

I love the aged brick wallpaper. TeamLava does well with aged brick. The same in Bakery story is lovely as well.

ReplyDeleteI wish the Wood Burning Oven had some sort of animation to indicate that food was cooking. You can’t tell if it’s busy cooking or idle. Maybe a brief puff or wisp of smoke once in a while from the chimney. Or at least a window on the side so you could see the food in it.

Agreed, some indication that the appliance is in action would be nice.
DeletePerhaps the fire burning at the bottom should only appear when you're cooking something? That would only require a simple bit of coding - nothing too elaborate. :)
I would love to know how I get the salad station for my restaurant.
ReplyDeleteSadly you cannot get hold of it any more. It could only be obtained while these goals were active and they have long expired.
DeleteWatch out for special offers with the weekly updates though - we've had a few appliances brought back of late for a limited time so you never know if the Salad Station might be next! :)
