In no particular order, here are this month's entries...
#6: More updates to Stormie's Store
Stormie's Store is the default neighbour we're all lumbered with. And he lacks creativity.
Stormie's Store |
The layout to Stormie's restaurant shown above has been around for several months, with a lot of the items becoming dated. I'd like to see Stormie's Store updated by the game's developers more regularly (preferably weekly) in order to give players a glimpse of the latest new content. This is especially relevant at the moment when the place could be decked out for Halloween.
Looking back at when I first started out (and didn't have a clue what was going on!), Stormie's place was something of a trove of delights, with all available space covered in items - some common and some rare. A return to this would be nice as it would allow players to get an insight into costly content before they spend gems on it. Heck, they might even be more likely to spend money to get more gems!
#7: My own music
I detest the in-game music on most apps, and Restaurant Story is no exception. It's all a bit too jolly for my liking. And thus the only time I have ever had it on was the day I started playing!

So my suggestion is to give us the opportunity to listen to our own music if we so wish. The existing background tune can remain an option, but I'd like to listen to something up my street during the half hour I spend tipping my neighbours.
Currently on iOS the music library isn't supported when opening TeamLava games whereas it is on some apps from other producers. So it must be possible to implement.
#8: Walls as well as dividers
At present anyone who wishes to have seperate sections in their restaurant housing different themes (such as myself) has to resort to dividers.

It would be nice to have the option of building inner walls to properly seal off seperate parts of the diner. This would increase the amount of wall space for buying wallpapers and wall decorations.
And another pro-TeamLava idea for this is to have a 'building time' for putting walls up. And inevitably there could be a 'finish building instantly' option for gems which would marginally boost gem sales due to impatient players.
#9: Kitchen items
Sticking with the sections theme, I have a dedicated kitchen section. At present it is filled with appliances plus the Swedish Hutch floor decoration. It would be cool to be able to buy some common kitchen items such as a fridge, sink and dishwasher.
I'm aware that a freezer was released as a limited time offer a long time ago, and a Refridgerator is a second prize in the Mystery Mail box. But these aren't very accessible. I'd like to be able to go straight into the floor decorations tab and pick these up, even if it is costly. If this isn't plausible, then even a box dedicated to kitchen items would have me tempted.
#10: More door designs
Anyone else sick of the grey door?
Door of The Garlic Tree |
It fits well with the surrounding interior in my restaurant, but that doesn't mean I don't want some more door designs! The only time the style changes is when a new edition of the game is released.
Ideally I'd like to see some more door designs added to the game. As is the way with TeamLava they'd probably cost at least 10 gems like the current door, but at least it would give players multiple possibilities.
They could even introduce a double door!
I find this blog very informative. I think I will be frequenting here to read more about your great posts. Restaurant rewards
ReplyDeleteThe content is amazing, keep posting friend it will be very helpful for everyone.
Glad you like it :)
Delete(9) is the big one here for me. I would LOVE to see more kitchen themed items; I missed the freezer and don't feel awesome about my only option being a try for a 2nd prize item.
ReplyDeleteCompare this to Bakery Story, where we have copper pots and bread shelves for gems, the icing and baking counters as 3rd prizes in various boxes, the halloween-themed baking cart for coins, and even just the flour bags on the floor are a nice touch. Geez, now that I look at this list, it's ridiculous how much bakery has and restaurant still has nothing! I'd definitely take a couple of cracks at even a kitchen themed box, though; I love my kitchen!
With regards to (7), Pandora does work with the TL apps, so that's one way to get alternative music playing while you tip your neighbors. :)
