As expected, the lodge is a 4x4 sized item, and contains lots of detail. There's the four figures, including one who is wearing a scarf and another who looks like the Violinist's sister...
The folks in this scene are tucking into some warming food which appears to be the Seared Ahi from the recent Valentine's Day goals. I always like to see foods from the game being incorporated in decorations - it gives a sense of completeness and closure.
There are skis and snowboards propped up against the walls, while a stone fireplace will provide some much needed heat for these snowsport enthusiasts. The deer head on the wall is a nice touch to complete the scene, although it is a little off-putting considering we've had reindeer decorations with their heads on in the past!
Overall this is a decent investment, although the 65 gem cost will put off a lot of players. But at the end of the day this is often the style of item you find as the first prize in a box, so bearing that in mind the price becomes much more competitive. Perhaps this is a canny investment for next winter?
I must say that skis and snowboards propped up against the walls are very nice feature, but have a display problem when placed close to the door, at least for Android. I really like this article because guests pass right next to the rack because, being on the wall, does not occupy physical space on the floor. I hope TL will find a similar solution to allow guests to pass under the gates, it would be really cute.
