    1. I used Gems to do the last part of the biscuits, and my Saloon Stove is not unlocked.

      1. Are you absolutely sure it's not unlocked? It should be the last item in the appliance tab of design mode. If it isn't then you may need to email TeamLava at support@teamlava.com to get it sorted.

I'd never recommend spending your gems on completing the goals unless you are running out of time and are desperate to get the recipes and goal items. For me there are better ways of using your precious gems :)

    2. If we aren't suppose to use Gems on things like this, then they should really tell us. So we don't do a goal and expect a reward after.

    3. I got 1 stove. How to get another? Is it limited by level?

      1. If you've unlocked the stove then it should be available and located at the very end of the appliances tab. If you'e told that you've 'reached the maximum number of appliances' then you'll need to store one of the ones you've got out on the floor before you can buy another :)

    4. What do YOU recommend using your precious gems for? I have accidently used them several times and I am holding on to them with a tight fist! I don't know what to use them for! But I don't have many, they are very hard to get. And I am adamant about not spending any money!

    5. Shoot in reading all this there is no way I can make it! :(
I am at the last step but making 30 Molasses Puddings that take 12 hours each!!! I would need 8 stoves to do it in the remaining time left... ughhh.. I got a late start on the goals, as it was my first of sorts and didn't understand how they worked!

      1. I know how you feel, I was the same when I started playing last year.

Remember that you've got until next Tuesday (the 15th) to complete it, so that's about 10 days. Just work hard on it! :)

      1. No problem, best of luck completing the goals!

As for your question above regarding gems, I ALWAYS spend my gems on decor. I figure that I will master everything eventually with or without extra appliances and speeding up cooking, so might as well use those precious gems to help make my place look good :)

    7. Thanks! Participating in the goals costs Coins! So I can't expand. Right now my place looks terrible! But I think of it as the "building" stage! I am accumulating cool stuff (all in storage!) and when I can expand I will place it all out and it will be nice! Sort of like when you are moving up in home sizes! It's gona look great when I am finished! I've seen some spectacular places! At level 99 LOL !!!

    8. what do you mean in "sidestep"?

      1. The 'sidesteps' are goals which appear alongside the main goals but don't have another goal following them - they are standalone. Rather than leading to a follow-up goal when completed, they unlock something which is necessary to continue along the main strand of goals.

Please not Cassandra that the Old West goals have now expired though :)
